Early 2014 Travels

Dear Friends,

This letter is long overdue, but here goes to try and catch you up with our busy schedule. We were in Florida for the first couple of weeks of January, then headed home to Ohio to catch up on radio broadcasts. They are pre-recorded, so I try to do that at least two days of every month. In February we headed to Nebraska for two missions conferences and we got a good taste of cold, zero-degree weather and snow. Several days in Kansas were also cold, but then we headed southwest to a warmer climate. We had several meetings in the Albuquerque, New Mexico area. The experiences there are too many to tell in a letter, it would be a small book. Please visit our website www.brucedelange.com for some pictures of our trip.

Handing out tracts

We traveled up to Santa Clara, California to a great pastors and workers conference at North Valley Baptist Church. We made a lot of new contacts there and enjoyed seeing folks we hadn’t seen in a long time. We spent a week in the Los Angeles area, preached in a church that has a large Spanish work, and has also started two other growing Spanish churches. It is a challenge for me to preach through an interpreter. I forget to give them time to repeat what I’ve said. But it was a good time with some very sweet Christians.

We were in Phoenix for a few days and enjoyed 75-degree weather, knowing that we would soon be back in snow and cold. After a Sunday at two churches in Kansas, we headed for home, after almost 7200 miles, and 16 churches in 8 weeks. The last Sunday in March, we celebrated the mail center in Bridgeview, Illinois, which has sent out 10 million tracts. What a blessing they are!

On a more personal note, my older brother, Johnny, went to Heaven in February. He was the first one to ever talk to me about being “born again”. How thankful I am that, because of his influence, I came to know the Lord personally. He will be greatly missed.

God has been so good to us. He has kept us safe all the miles, provided for all our needs, and given us health. Please keep us in your prayers, we want to be a blessing to others.

Joyfully Serving,

Bruce and Mary

Uncle Johnny
