Music, Missions and Mountains

Mountains Idaho Wyoming Washington

Dear Friends,

Thank you all for the prayers for us, and to those who give to keep us going on the road. You are so much appreciated, and without you we could not keep up the busy pace.

We've traveled a lot of miles and have been a lot of places since the last newsletter. Here's a short update of what's been happening with us.

First Baptist Church of Riverview - Missions Conference

The month of April and into May was packed with meetings in Oregon, Idaho, Montana, and Washington. One meeting in particular that stands out was the meeting at First Baptist Church of Riverview in Pasco, Washington. It was a mission conference, and several teens were saved, some of them were already church members. It was also a blessing to preach in the Spanish ministry, the Korean ministry, and the Arabic ministry, as well as preach and sing in the regular church services.

In May we were able to be home for a couple of weeks, doing radio broadcasts, and attending our church's Bread of Life Camp meeting. A great blessing was being a part of loading and shipping a container of ten and a half million tracts to India. The India national pastor who will be receiving these tracts was also able to attend the camp meeting.

The end of May found us at Silver State Baptist Youth Camp near Sedalia, Colorado. A couple of our kids attended camp here years ago. The people at this camp are still reaching many young people for the Lord. There are missionaries, pastors, and many others in ministry that have made decisions to serve God while attending a week of camp here.

We started the month of July at Douglas Baptist Church in Douglas, Wyoming for a mini-revival. They are also a mail center, and have been packing and shipping tracts for three years out of a very small building that is hot in summer and cold in winter. They have built a new building now where they can work in comfort, and we were able to dedicate it for God's glory. We trust that many millions of tracts will be shipped from this new facility.

Bruce and the Lincoln

And finally, our Lincoln car has carried us across America for almost 200,000 miles, pretty much trouble free. But recently it has been needing a lot of repairs. It seemed like every time we were out on the road, something else would need fixing. We finally made the decision to retire it, but it is like saying goodbye to a faithful old friend.

We have purchased a 2015 Chrysler Town and Country van, which we hope will provide many miles of dependable traveling, and much more room for luggage, guitars, and tracts. Mary always said loading the Lincoln was like putting a jigsaw puzzle together. Everything had a place, but everything had to be in its place to make it all fit!

Thanks for all you do in helping us to keep getting the gospel out to so many people. Jesus is coming soon, and we must reach as many as we can!

Serving Joyfully and Looking Up,

Bruce and Mary
