Hello Friends,
Some of the best things about our travels around the country are the new people we meet and the old friends we get to spend time with.
Recently Mary and I met a man named Rafael while in a mall near Atlanta. I gave him a tract and he gladly told me he was already saved. The interesting thing about him was that he used to work on Air Force One. Yes, the Air Force One with the presidents! He shared his pictures taken with President Reagan, President Bush and President Clinton - very impressive, and it was fun to hear his stories.
We also enjoyed a long lunch at the Golden Corral in Ocala, Florida with snowbirds from Ohio, and Florida friends too. We sang several songs with Wayne and Ella, Norris and Pat, Amos, Doug, and Barb. We also were privileged to sing happy birthday to a grandmother who was there celebrating her 83rd birthday. Her son later told us she would never forget that birthday. We are grateful God uses us to be a blessing even in those unexpected places, and also for the blessing of old friends and new ones.
